Did you know that about 75% of all stocks follow the direction of the overall market? That’s right, even strong stocks like Apple and Google tend to trend lower when there’s a bear market. What usually happens is that these stronger stocks don’t decline as much as the overall market. Say the market is down 40% for the year. The stronger stocks might only be down 20-25% for the year.
