Most Stocks Follow The Market

Financial Freedom | Help With Money

Did you know that about 75% of all stocks follow the direction of the overall market? That’s right, even strong stocks like Apple and Google tend to trend lower when there’s a bear market. What usually happens is that these stronger stocks don’t decline as much as the overall market. Say the market is down 40% for the year. The stronger stocks might only be down 20-25% for the year. What does this tell us? When times are tough, invest in other areas. If anyone thinks taking losses is ok, please read my other blogs about risk management and cutting your losses.
